This privacy notice explains how F1 Mirador (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit f1mirador.com, make an enquiry, or interact with us by email or phone.
F1 Mirador is a trading brand of the Sporting Escapes Group portfolio and is affiliated with InteleTravel UK under ABTA membership number P7384. InteleTravel UK are appointed agents for our suppliers who are ATOL holders.
1. The information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website, by email, or by phone, we may collect:
- Your name and contact details (email address, phone number, company name where given).
- Your enquiry details — the race weekend, dates, party size, preferred experience type, budget range and any specific requirements you share with us.
- Any further information you choose to share by email, phone or in subsequent correspondence.
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected via standard server logs and analytics.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal for your Formula 1 weekend.
- Communicate with you about your booking, supplier arrangements and travel-related logistics.
- Share necessary booking information with the relevant suppliers (hotels, hospitality providers, transfer companies, ticketing partners) and our host agency InteleTravel UK.
- Comply with our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
- Where you have opted in, send you occasional updates about new race weekends and private experiences. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal information on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Consent — you have asked us to plan a Formula 1 weekend on your behalf and ticked the consent box when submitting your enquiry.
- Contract — where we are taking steps to enter into, or perform, a travel arrangement contract with you.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our business and the F1 Mirador website.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with UK law.
4. Sharing your information
We share your information only with parties involved in arranging your travel — for example InteleTravel UK as our host agency, the relevant ATOL-protected supplier(s), hotels, transfer partners and hospitality providers. We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Some of our suppliers and the destinations you travel to may be outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally to fulfil your booking, it is done so under appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain enquiry data only for as long as is necessary to respond to your enquiry or fulfil your booking, plus any period required by law (typically 6 years for financial records). Marketing data is held until you unsubscribe.
